Question 1:

b)      – being digital immigrant we found that we couldn’t actually start the project over web 2.0 hence we physically got together in order start and practically complete the project

-         we couldn’t all access the project at once in order to add things or edit the project which caused some issues in making sure we all contributed

-         having different learning and teaching styles and working in a group we found that we all wanted to set it out differently in a manner that was more suitable to our own style

-         collaboration – who does what in order to have equal weighting between us

-    also issues arose when some of us had difficulty or not as much confidence in using the technology as the other members

 c)      In terms of the motivation that the project caused I think put a great expectation on a collaborative nature of work. In regards to the motivation that comes from within a person Dreikurs states that each behaviour is driven from self determination, and subjective appraisal through this the students become responsible for their own learning. Being in a web 2.0 environment it is crucial that collaboration occurs between the students in both a virtual and physical world. If the students take up responsibility and are self determined to succeed they will ensure that they will work collaboratively with their peers.
